Discover Islam Day - October 2021
On October 2021, Harrogate Islamic Association organised an event which was open for all residents of Harrogate no matter what their background. The purpose of this day was to engage with members of our community and invite them to gain a better understanding of Islam and our way of life. One of our missions is to promote and foster cross cultural understanding and harmony so we look forward to holding many similar events in the future.
Launchgood Campaign closed for Harrogate's first Masjid - 2020
Asslaamu aleikum, As the campaign comes to a close, we want to thank the over 600 supporters who gave so generously. Although our campaign initially closed at £56k, we had further donations from other generous individuals to fill in the funding gap.
Alhamdulillah, I'm pleased to say we'll be able to do this. All of you (and that includes the team at LaunchGood) made a difference!
Now we'll begin the next stage with the vendor.
We still ask for your prayers to ensure that the remaining process goes smoothly. We don't know if there will be unforeseen issues, such as public opposition (we have had some related comments on our Facebook page), but we will do our utmost to overcome them, inshallah, with you, our friends and our allies.

Gambian Water Project
We have successfully funded our own Gambian Water Project which aims to provide clean drinking water to the inhabitants.

We provide lessons every Sunday at Chain Lane Community Centre in Knaresborough, HG5 0AS from 10:30 - 12:30 PM.
